DIY or Call Us?

There are a couple of things you can safely check on your own: if the door is dragging, look at the bottom corner for loose adjustment screws, and wipe down the track to remove obvious grit. On entry doors, tighten the top hinge screws with a screwdriver to see if the latch lines up better. That’s about where we’d stop.

Where DIY goes wrong with CWS doors specifically: pulling a slider panel off the track without releasing the anti-lift mechanism can bend the frame, and forcing an impact door’s multipoint lock when the panel is misaligned can shear internal lock components that cost more to replace than the original repair.
