Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Last revised: June 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy governs the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information by Winslow Windows & Doors through its website located at winslowpalmbeach.com (the Site). Winslow Windows & Doors operates as a home-service marketing and referral company: it advertises home-service categories, receives service inquiries from Site visitors, and routes those inquiries to independent businesses that quote and perform the requested work. Winslow Windows & Doors does not itself perform any home-service work.

This Policy applies to any individual who visits the Site, submits a service request, initiates a chat, or otherwise transmits information through the Site. By using the Site or submitting a request, a visitor accepts the practices described herein. If a visitor does not accept this Policy, that visitor should not use the Site or submit any information through it.

This Policy was last updated on June 28, 2026. Winslow Windows & Doors reserves the right to amend it at any time, and the amended version will govern all information collected after the date it is posted.

1. Children Under Thirteen

The Site is directed exclusively toward adults seeking home-service referrals. Winslow Windows & Doors does not knowingly solicit, collect, or retain personal information from any individual under thirteen (13) years of age. If Winslow Windows & Doors becomes aware that it has inadvertently collected information from a child under thirteen, it will promptly delete that information from its records. Parents or guardians who believe that a child has submitted information through the Site are encouraged to contact Winslow Windows & Doors so that the information can be identified and removed.

2. Disclosure and Routing of Visitor Information

The central purpose for which Winslow Windows & Doors collects personal information is to connect a visitor with businesses that can actually respond to, quote, and carry out the requested home-service work. Accordingly, when a visitor submits a service request, the details of that request - including the visitor’s contact information and project description - are transmitted to the licensed contracting firms and vetted trade professionals in Winslow Windows & Doors’s referral network whose geographic coverage and service offerings match the request.

Those contracting firms and trade professionals are legally and operationally independent of Winslow Windows & Doors. They set their own prices, employ their own personnel, and bear sole responsibility for the work they perform. Once a visitor’s information is routed to a matching firm or professional, that firm or professional may contact the visitor directly by phone, text, or email to discuss the project, schedule a visit, or present a quote.

Beyond this core referral function, Winslow Windows & Doors may also disclose personal information to service providers that assist with website hosting, call handling, customer-relationship management, and marketing analytics; to affiliated brands described in Section 10 below; and where required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of Winslow Windows & Doors or others.

3. Telephone and Text-Message Communications

By submitting a service request or otherwise providing a telephone number through the Site, a visitor may receive text messages (SMS or MMS) and telephone calls from two distinct sources: (1) Winslow Windows & Doors itself, and (2) the independent contracting firm or trade professional to whom the visitor’s request has been routed. Both parties may use an automatic telephone dialing system or autodialer, and either may use prerecorded or artificial-voice messages, when placing those calls or texts.

Consent to receive such calls and text messages is not a requirement for purchasing any goods or services. A visitor who prefers not to be contacted by automated means still has full access to any services available through the Site.

Message frequency is not fixed. How often a visitor receives texts depends on the nature of their request, how many firms in the referral network are responding, and how the conversation between the visitor and those firms progresses - so the number of messages a visitor receives will vary accordingly.

Standard message and data rates charged by the visitor’s wireless carrier may apply to any text message sent or received.

To stop receiving text messages, a visitor may reply STOP to any text message. To request assistance, a visitor may reply HELP. Please note that opting out of text messages through STOP will halt SMS communications but will not automatically close an open service request or prevent other forms of follow-up (such as telephone calls or email) unless the visitor separately requests that those cease as well.

A visitor who wishes to opt out of all communications, or who has questions about messaging, may also reach Winslow Windows & Doors through the contact page.

4. Information Winslow Windows & Doors Collects

Winslow Windows & Doors collects information in two principal ways: directly from visitors who interact with the Site, and automatically as visitors navigate Site pages.

When a visitor completes a quote-request form, initiates a chat session, calls a number listed on the Site, or otherwise reaches out to Winslow Windows & Doors, the visitor typically provides some combination of the following: a full name; one or more telephone numbers; an email address; a home or project address (including city and ZIP code); and a description of the work the visitor needs done - such as the trade category, urgency, scope, and any other details the visitor chooses to include.

Separately, the Site automatically records certain technical information each time a visitor loads a page. This includes the pages visited and the sequence in which they were viewed, the type of browser and device in use, the visitor’s general geographic region as inferred from an IP address, and referral data indicating how the visitor arrived at the Site. This technical data is used primarily to maintain and improve the Site and to measure the effectiveness of advertising.

5. State Privacy Rights

Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah - and residents of other states that have enacted substantially similar consumer-privacy legislation - are entitled to exercise the rights described in this section with respect to personal information that Winslow Windows & Doors holds about them.

Those rights include:

  • Access. The right to know what categories and specific pieces of personal information Winslow Windows & Doors has collected about the consumer, and to whom that information has been disclosed.
  • Correction. The right to request that inaccurate personal information be corrected.
  • Deletion. The right to request that personal information be deleted, subject to certain legal exceptions.
  • Portability. The right to receive a copy of the personal information in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing. The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of its use for targeted advertising or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

Important Notice Regarding the Referral Function: When a visitor submits a service request, Winslow Windows & Doors transmits that visitor’s contact details and project information to the independent businesses that are positioned to respond to it. Under the privacy statutes of certain states, that transfer of personal information may constitute a sale or a share of personal information, regardless of whether Winslow Windows & Doors receives monetary compensation. A visitor who does not wish to have their information passed along in this manner should refrain from submitting a service request. A visitor who has already submitted a request and wishes to withdraw or opt out of further transfers may do so by contacting Winslow Windows & Doors through the contact page - that contact mechanism is the opt-out channel available for this purpose.

To exercise any of the rights listed above, a visitor should submit a request through the contact page. An authorized agent may submit a request on a consumer’s behalf, provided the agent supplies adequate written proof of authorization. Winslow Windows & Doors may verify the identity of the requesting individual before acting on a request. Responses will be provided within the timeframe specified by whichever state law applies to the consumer’s request.

If Winslow Windows & Doors declines to honor a privacy request, the consumer will be informed of the reasons. The consumer may appeal that decision by responding to the denial notice or by submitting a new communication through the contact page, and Winslow Windows & Doors will inform the consumer of the outcome of the appeal.

Winslow Windows & Doors does not deny, charge a different price for, or provide a reduced quality of service to any individual solely because that individual has exercised a privacy right described in this section.

6. Express Consent by Submission

When a visitor submits a form, initiates a chat session, places a call, or otherwise transmits information to Winslow Windows & Doors through the Site, that visitor expressly consents to two things. First, the visitor agrees that their personal information - including contact details and project description - will be transferred to the independent business or trade professional that receives and responds to the request, as described in Section 2 of this Policy. Second, the visitor agrees to be contacted by Winslow Windows & Doors, and by that independent business or professional, via telephone call, SMS or MMS text message, and email, in connection with the service request.

Such consent encompasses contact made through automated dialing systems and through prerecorded or artificial-voice messages. However, providing this consent is not a condition of purchasing any home service. A visitor who withholds consent to automated calls or texts will not be denied access to referrals or to any other feature of the Site on that basis alone.

7. Analytics and Aggregate Data

Winslow Windows & Doors uses third-party analytics tools to understand how visitors interact with the Site and to measure the reach and performance of its advertising. These tools may set cookies or similar tracking technologies and may collect data such as page views, session duration, click paths, and general location data derived from IP addresses.

Winslow Windows & Doors may compile aggregate or de-identified statistics - for example, the percentage of visitors requesting a particular service category, or overall traffic volumes by region - and may use or disclose those statistics for business and marketing purposes. Aggregate or de-identified data of this kind, which cannot reasonably be linked back to any individual, is not sold.

8. Retention of Personal Information

Winslow Windows & Doors retains personal information only for as long as is reasonably necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected - principally, coordinating the referral and ensuring that the visitor’s request has been received by an appropriate independent business - and for as long as may be required to satisfy applicable legal, tax, or regulatory obligations. Once information is no longer needed for those purposes, Winslow Windows & Doors will dispose of or de-identify it in a manner appropriate to its sensitivity.

9. Affiliated Brands and Shared Service Providers

Winslow Windows & Doors operates as one of several home-service marketing brands under common ownership and management. That broader corporate family encompasses other websites and brand names that focus on the same or related trade categories in various markets. Personal information collected through winslowpalmbeach.com may be shared among those affiliated brands where doing so helps ensure that a visitor’s request reaches the right trade specialty or the right geographic service area, or for purposes such as administrative support, quality review, fraud prevention, and coordinated billing.

Winslow Windows & Doors also engages third-party vendors to provide operational infrastructure, including call-answering services, scheduling and customer-relationship management platforms, website hosting, and marketing technology. Personal information may be shared with those vendors to the extent necessary for them to perform their functions. Any affiliated brand or vendor that receives personal information through this arrangement is expected to handle it under this Policy or under a privacy policy that imposes materially equivalent protections.

10. Questions and Privacy Requests

Any visitor with a question about this Privacy Policy, or who wishes to submit a privacy rights request, an opt-out request, or any other inquiry regarding personal information, may reach Winslow Windows & Doors through the contact page. Winslow Windows & Doors will make reasonable efforts to respond in a timely manner and in accordance with applicable law.
